Paine. [She only glanced at him briefly when she replied. When she said she thought the food was a trap, she didn't really have poison in mind. Not the deadly sort anyway. But who could really say. But she's at least glad he agrees with her on the dubiousness of all of this.
But the food looked and smelled fantastic. She'd had some good meals after days or weeks with meager ones and this blew those memories away. This spread was so tempting it felt unreal, and yet she had a feeling it would taste just as good as it looked, if not better.
No...more than that. She could feel it drawing her in to try it. Before she even realized she found that she was leaning over the table, her hands planted on it with her fingertips pressing hard against the wood.]
Nghhh....we're probably not getting out of here until we eat something...and I literally can't remember the last time I ate something.
[Now that she thought about it, she realized how hungry she was, and how quickly that ache was building. She bit her lip, not wanting to give in but....She grasped at a turkey leg, ripping it from the bird and bit into it.
A heady moan escaped her lips at that bite, the perfect savory juiciness filling her senses as the meat split just so by her teeth. It not only tasted good but it FELT good to bite into it, her body feeling all the warmer by it and before she even swallowed her first bite.]
